Kim N. (Brown) Bowdren, age 55, formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly in Maine on Saturday. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Bowdren. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Guilmain) Brown of Billerica and the late Edward Brown. She had lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life, and had resided in Maine for the last nine years.
Kim attended Lynn English High School. She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting and loved animals of all kinds. She was a caring and loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children; Erin Karvielis and her husband Michael of Amesbury, Tammy Bowdren and her companion Shawn Bresnahan of Lynn, and Thomas Bowdren and his companion Brandi Clark of Maine; eight grandchildren; Brittany, Courtney, Emily, Madison, Shawn, Olivia, Little Tommy and Niko; her siblings; Denise Walsh and her husband Brian of Billerica, Eddie Brown, formerly of Lynn, and Lisa Brown and her companion Donald Clement of NH; her brothers-in-law; Frederick Bowdren and his wife Joy, Bradley Bowdren and Richard Bowdren; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 12PM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be on Friday from 10AM-12PM, prior to the funeral. Those who prefer may make donations to the Kim Bowdren Memorial Fund, c/o Provident Bank, 1 Haverhill Rd., Amesbury, MA 01913.
